Four Hour Workshop – fully booked

Cost – £70 per person

In this 4 hour workshop you will learn a very accessible hand-building technique and be taught how to throw on the potter’s wheel

The workshop can accommodate a maximum of 3 students and is suitable for adults and children over the age of 11

The session will be split into two halves with the aim for everyone to end the class with a hand-built masterpiece and a wheel thrown pot. Please be prepared for a few disasters before you get to grips fully with the potter’s wheel. It’s perfectly normal for beginners and all part of the learning process

You will have the opportunity to decorate your hand-built piece using a wide selection of brush-on glaze colours. For your thrown piece, there will be the opportunity to choose a glaze from the select range of studio dipping glazes and, once dried and fired, this piece will be glazed for you. When your pots have completed all of their firings and are ready for collection you will be notified by email, approximately 6 to 8 weeks later

The price includes the cost of all materials used during the session.

Please feel free to bring your own apron, although they can be provided. Please wear old clothes and shoes!
