General Information

Welcome to Wanstead Pottery. The studio is based on Nightingale Lane, Wanstead, and is a 10 minute walk from both Wanstead and Snaresbrook tube stations.

The new term will begin week commencing 7th September, and will run for six weeks. To be kept informed of classes, courses and launch dates for new bookings, please sign up to receive notifications via the homepage.

WANSTEAD FRINGE – The Wanstead Fringe runs from 5th – 26th September and Wanstead Pottery is pleased to be taking part for another year. Weekend classes during September can be booked directly via the Fringe website at https://wansteadfringe.org/all-events/

Collection of pots. You will be contacted by email once your pots are ready to collect. Collection day is Monday, between 10am and 1pm and again between 3pm and 8pm.

Classes and courses generally include;

Adult 6 Week Course – Tuesday & Friday mornings – 10am-12.30pm. Friday evenings – 7pm-9.30pm. £250.

Hand-Building. Adults (and kids age 11+) – Saturday Taster Session – 10am-1pm. £40.

Throwing On The Wheel. Adults (and kids age 11+) – Saturday Taster session – 10am-1pm. £45.

Family Hand-Building. Kids (age 6+) and Family Groups  – Saturday Taster Session – 10am-1pm. £40

4 Hour workshop. Adults (and kids age 11+) – Saturday Taster Session – 10am -2pm. £70.

Please note, Saturday classes are rotated throughout the term.
